On
August 15th 2007 Jason continued overland by bicycle from Istanbul
in Turkey through Bulgaria and Serbia. At the time of writing he
and cousin Merlin Lewis, who has joined for a short section during
his summer holidays, are in Belgrade.
The
route will take in Austria, Germany and finally to Oostend in Belgium.
Pedal boat Moksha will already be on hand for the final voyage (3-days)
across the Channel and up the River Thames to finish at the expedition's
original start point: the zero degree line of longitude at the Greenwich
Meridian. This will mark the end of the 13-year attempt by the Expedition
360 team to circumnavigate
the earth using only human power.
The
circumnavigatrion was competed 12 noon 6th October at the Royal
