Teenagers with a thirst for adventure, exploration and discovery join the expedition team for one of the circumnavigation legs, such as Biking Australia or Kayaking Indonesia. As well as filming for a children's TV show our Young Explorers also work with professional educators to develop standards based curricula sent back via satellite to the expedition website.

The Virtual Learning Series is a non realtime learning resource available to classrooms via CD ROM and the web. Short video clips drawn from the TV show introduce students and teachers to engaging environmental and cultural aspects of the country most recently visited by the expedition team. These appetizers then segue into standard's aligned lesson activities in a variety of subject disciplines such as maths, science, literacy, geography, history, information technology (IT), education for sustainable development (ESD) and physical education.

The first title from our recent leg through Australia is now available for viewing...
